"I don't know how to row. Is that okay?" Absolutely! Over 90% of collegiate club rowers have little to no experience in rowing before arriving on campus. We take students from all athletic backgrounds and turn them into high performance rowers.
"When is the rowing season?" Rowers train year-round with racing seasons in the fall and spring and a winter conditioning season inside on Concept 2 Ergs (rowing machines).
"Can I balance rowing and academics?" Our rowers are student-athletes, putting "student" first with a focus on high performance both on the water and in the classroom. Roughly half of the team are engineers with 18 credit hours per semester and still maintain High GPAs.
"Where do you compete?" We travel across the country competing in both regional and national championships against colleges from coast to coast.
"Do I have what it takes to be a rower?"
