OKLAHOMA STATE ROWING

We're headed to ACRA National Championships in May!

Plains Regional Regatta

On Sunday, OKState rowing attended the Plains Regional Regatta and came home with 5 overall first place finishes across all squads, and 7 total first place finishes. It was a productive day in Wichita, Kansas as the crew ended their regular season on a high. Now focus turns to nationals in May where the team looks to compete against some of the top club teams in the nation.

The time to give is now! During the next few weeks, Oklahoma State University's official annual fundraising campaign is live. This is one of our biggest fundraisers where you can help fund the teams' competitive season.

Our goal is to raise $6,500 to purchase new equipment, cover team expenses, and send us out-of-state for regionals and nationals. Any donations are welcome, and we can't do what we do without the help of our community.

Rowing Since 1974

Building Oklahoma's first rowing team doesn't come without ups and downs along the way. As a student-led program with the mentality of creating something great, five decades later the program is thriving with multiple ACRA National Championship appearances.

ACRA National Championship Regatta 2025

Lead by coaches Bird, Korn, and Weckler, OKState Rowing returned to Oak Ridge, TN for their sixth ACRA National championship with their first varsity eight. All four squads were represented with novice men and women's fours, varsity women's fours, and a varsity men's eight. Ultimately, each crew raced their hardest and worked as a team.

Congratulations to freshman Claire Little who was selected by the ACRA board to represent the Plains as ACRA All-Region Athlete!

"It's a great art, rowing. It's the finest there is. It's a symphony of motion. And when you're rowing well, why it's nearly perfection. And when you're near perfection, you're touching the Divine. It touches the you of yous. Which is your soul."

-George Yeoman Pocock    (Boys in the Boat, 2013)
