FALL 2022 RACING

Frostbite Regatta

Captain's Cup

On November 6th,  OSU travelled to Wichita, KS to compete alongside 28 teams from throughout the region at the Wichita Frostbite Regatta. We had an amazing time rowing on the Little Arkansas River and ending the fall season well with some hard earned medals. The placing results are as follows:

Women's Open 1x: 3rd Place
Men’s Novice 4+: 3rd Place
Mixed Open 4+: 1st Place
Women’s Varsity 8+: 3rd Place
First Men’s Novice 8+: 3rd Place
Second Men’s Novice 8+: 1st Place
On November 12th, ​OKState Rowing finished out their on the water season with an intra-squad competition out on Lake Carl Blackwell. This was an amazing end to the year for the crew. The teams and results are as follows:
First: Easy Money (Captains: Mikayla Verdin & Micah Swedberg)
Second: Goofy Goobers (Captains: Tessa DuBois & Zac Rockett)
Third: Ogre-Achievers (Captains: Josh Wood & Drew Walters)

Overall Golden Oar Winner: Team Easy Money
Best Costumes: Team Ogre-Achievers
Coxswain Single Winner: Josh Wood

​Head of the Oklahoma

On October 1st, OKState Rowing competed in their first fall race of the season. They competed against crews from all over the country, from NCAA to club sports. The placing results are as followed:

Mens Novice 8+: 3rd Place

Wichita State Invitational

On May 1st, OKState Rowing traveled to Wichita, Kansas to compete against Wichita State University and Kansas State University. The results are as follows:

Women's Varsity 8+: 1st Place
Women's Varsity 4+: 3rd Place
Women's 1x: 1st Place
Men's Varsity 8+: 2nd Place
Men's Varsity 4+: 1st Place & 3rd Place
