- Spring Season -
Plains RegionalThe annual Plains Regional Regatta was in Wichita, KS on May 5th. It was the closing chapter for most of our crew's spring racing season. Competing against teams from the Plains Region, we stood strong and had 2 Varsity Men's crews place first in their races.
Varsity Men's 4+: 1st Place Varsity Men's 8+: 1st Place WSU/UCO InvitationalOn March 30th, the crew participated in an invitational in Oklahoma City, OK alongside WSU, UCO, and OCU. This was the first race back on the water for this spring season and the first race ever for our spring novices.
It was the perfect start to our on the water portion of the season.
WSU hosted the annual erging competition Shocker Sprints in Wichita, KS on February 17th. The team earned 10 of the 18 available medals, medaled in every event that we entered, and had a 95% PR rate.

ICRIThe crew drove 608 miles to Clinton Lake, IL to participate in the Illinois Collegiate Rowing Invitational on April 20th. There were crews from all 8 different states, all with fast crews. As the team is preparing for nationals in less than a month, this weekend was a great encouragement to see our hard work pay off.

- Fall Season-
FrostbiteThe annual Frostbite Regatta was held on November 5th. The team to compete alongside 28 teams from throughout the region. Rowing on the Little Arkansas River is always a good time. We are excited to have taken 5 medals in the following events:
Novice Men’s 8+: 1st Place Varsity Men’s 8+: 3rd Place Novice Women’s 8+: 3rd Place Novice Women’s 4+: 3rd Place Mixed 8+: 2nd Place Head of the Oklahoma On September 30th the team brought their largest group yet to HotO with 60 athletes and 19 races. For many, it was their first regatta ever and for our varsity crew, it was their first race back for the Fall season.

Captain's CupOn November 11th, OKState Rowing finished out their on the water season with an intra-squad competition out on Lake Carl Blackwell. This was an amazing end to the year for the crew. The teams and results are as follows:
Oozoozoo (Captains: Hannah Farris & Carson Hensley) Super Mari-Row Bros (Captains: Megan Lyman & Kirin Stewart) The Olympians (Captains: Yasmine Abusaleh & Sam Korn) Overall Golden Oar Winner: The Olympians Best Costumes: Super Mari-Row Bros Winner of all 8+ events: Oozoozoo Lawrence Head RaceKansas University hosted an invitational on October 22nd in Lawrence, KS. This was the first out-of-state race of the season and it went off without a hitch. Racing against KU and WSU, our team raced hard and had a great experience in Lawrence.
